Privacy Policy

What we don't collect

Ester is built so that we cannot access your health data — not as a policy choice we could quietly reverse, but as a consequence of how the app works. We do not collect, receive, store, sell, or share:

• Your dose log, protocols, schedules, or streaks
• Your vial inventory or medication details
• Your bloodwork results or reference ranges
• Your weight, body-fat, progress photos, or personal records
• Your name, email address, or any account credentials — there is no account
• Your location, contacts, or advertising identifiers

Ester contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no trackers.

Where your data lives

Everything you enter in Ester is stored locally in the app's storage on your iPhone. It is not transmitted to us or to any server we control. If you delete the app, the data stored on your device is deleted with it.

Device backups

If you back up your iPhone — to iCloud or to a computer — your Ester data may be included in that backup, like the data of any other app. Those backups are created and managed by you and Apple under Apple's privacy policy; we have no access to them. You can exclude app data from backups in your device settings.

Purchases

Ester's subscription is processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. We never see or store your payment details. Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymized sales reporting that contains no health data and does not identify you.

Diagnostics

If you have opted in to sharing diagnostics with app developers in your iOS settings, Apple may share crash reports and aggregated usage statistics with us. These come from Apple, contain no health data, and are not linked to your identity by us.

Your control

• Export — you can export your complete record from the app at any time.
• Delete — you can erase your data in the app, or delete the app to remove everything stored on the device.

Because we hold no copy of your data, there is nothing for you to request from us — and nothing we could hand over, lose, or be compelled to disclose.

Children

Ester is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone — including minors.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. We will never change the core promise retroactively: data you logged on-device stays on-device.
